Seller Terms
General provisions
These terms apply to all sellers on the marketplace and form part of the agreement between the seller and the marketplace when a store is created.
Guarantee deposit
The guarantee deposit is a security payment a seller makes to gain access to selling. The deposit amount affects the marketplace's commission tier: a higher deposit means a lower commission — see the current tier grid in your seller cabinet.
Earnings hold period after a sale
Funds from each sale are not credited to the seller's balance immediately — they are held for a period set by the marketplace (the current period is shown in the seller cabinet). This gives the buyer time to open a dispute if the item doesn't match its description.
Disputes and refunds
A buyer may open a dispute on an order within a limited time after purchase. If the seller does not respond to a dispute within the set deadline, the marketplace automatically refunds the buyer for the disputed item.
Covering a refund shortfall from the guarantee deposit
If an automatic or agreed dispute refund exceeds the funds available on the seller's balance at the time of the refund, the shortfall is recorded as a debt owed by the seller to the marketplace.
When the seller requests a guarantee deposit withdrawal, any such debt is automatically deducted from the payout amount before the remainder is transferred to the seller. The deposit itself is still reduced by the full amount requested; the wallet actually receives the amount minus the debt and the gateway fee. The deduction is recorded in the seller's operation history along with the withdrawal request number it relates to.
How a deposit withdrawal affects the store
Withdrawing the entire guarantee deposit suspends the store (without losing products or sales history) until the deposit is topped up again. A partial withdrawal is only allowed if the remaining deposit does not fall below the marketplace's minimum threshold.
